The Company Samsung Reduces Phone Manufacturing Throughout The Month Of April Because Demand Drops

According to a article in South Korean tech publication The Elec states Samsung would pull back output from around 25 million units a month to only 10 million handsets for the month of April. This outlet also quotes an unnamed source to suggest that the ongoing Covid-19 Iockdowns as well as the halting of factories in India and the country of Brazil were the main reasons for the reduction.
Samsung report numbers would be normalized in May as this is when the India and Brazil plants will ressume production. But, even though the lockdown has already been extended in India until the third of May and Covid-19 occurences unfortunately are rising in both these countries, the anticipated recovery may yet be longer than the company hopes.
But yet, there is a silver lining for the company. The predicted sales for its Galaxy S20 Ultra are beating all market predictions and sales are believed to hit 6 million handsets throughout the year when compared to the expected numbers 3.5 to 5.25 million handsets.
